Technology and Security for Healthcare Organizations

Consider I.T. Solved.

Healthcare providers face increasing pressure from cybersecurity threats, staffing challenges, regulatory requirements, and patient safety concerns.

Tight Technologies helps medical practices, specialty clinics, dental groups, and healthcare organizations maintain secure, compliant, and reliable operations.

Sound familiar?

The pressures healthcare teams tell us about most.

01

Ransomware and email scams

One bad click can stop the schedule. Staff are busy, and phishing is built to look routine.

02

Shared logins and turnover

Front-desk and clinical staff come and go, and access has to follow them in and out quickly.

03

Records and systems everywhere

EHR, billing, imaging, phones, printers and personal devices all touch patient information.

04

Open lobbies and after-hours access

Patients need a welcoming front door while records rooms and supply areas stay protected.

How we help

One partner for the technology and the physical side, planned together.

01

Technology Services

Managed IT with 24/7 help desk, NOC and SOC. Responsive support for providers and front-office staff, with proactive monitoring, patching and security operations around the clock.

Security monitoring and email protection. Endpoint protection, email filtering and awareness training that fit a busy clinic.

Password and credential management. 1Password for your whole team, so shared logins give way to individual, auditable access.

Backup and recovery, tested. Backups that are restored on a schedule so you know they work before you need them.

Secure Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace. Multi-factor sign-in, sensible permissions and clean onboarding and offboarding.

Network and Wi-Fi design. Reliable connectivity, with clinical and guest traffic kept apart.

Line-of-business and imaging support. We coordinate with your EHR, practice-management and imaging vendors, and troubleshoot imaging systems and workstations so your care team is not stuck in the middle.

02

Physical Security

Access control for records and supply rooms. Badges and mobile credentials, with a clear record of who went where and when.

Cameras at entrances and parking. Placed with patient privacy in mind, with footage available quickly when you need it.

Visitor check-in and intercom. A calm, welcoming front door that still screens who comes in.

Panic buttons at the front desk. Quiet alerts for staff, tied to your own response procedures.

Environmental sensors. Temperature and leak alerts for medication storage, server rooms and equipment areas.

Where we focus

Protecting patient information

HIPAA safeguards, access controls, encryption, and tested backups, with documentation ready when it is requested.

Keeping care running

Fast response and proactive monitoring, because downtime means delayed appointments and lost production.

Safe, welcoming facilities

Access control, cameras, and panic buttons designed around patients and staff, with privacy tools where video needs them.

Compliance conversations, made easier

We support your readiness

Most healthcare organizations are working toward the same goal: be able to show what safeguards are in place. We help you gather and maintain that picture. Your compliance officer and counsel make the compliance decisions.

Ready-to-use policies and procedures. A policy library with the documents for the specific regulations that apply to you, including HIPAA, kept up to date for you, with room for custom policies written for your practice.

Staff training tracking. A framework that records which employees have been trained on which policies, so you can show it when asked. It connects to Microsoft Entra ID or Active Directory, or accepts a manual CSV import.

HIPAA security risk analysis support. We review the technical safeguards, document what we find, and help you build a remediation list.

Business Associate Agreements. We sign BAAs, and we help you coordinate the agreements you need with your other vendors.

PCI DSS for card payments. If you take cards at the front desk or online, we help scope and secure that part of your environment.

NIST-aligned controls. We organize safeguards around recognized NIST frameworks so your documentation is consistent and defensible.

Access and audit records. Account reviews, access logs and backup test records, ready when someone asks.

Tight Technologies provides technical and operational support. We are not a law firm or an auditor, and no vendor can make an organization compliant on its own. Rules that apply to you may include HIPAA, PCI DSS and state privacy and breach-notification laws; your counsel can confirm.

Questions we hear

Do you sign Business Associate Agreements?

Yes. We sign BAAs with our healthcare clients as a normal part of working together.

Do you provide policies and procedures, and track staff training?

Yes. Every client gets access to a current policy library covering the regulations that apply to them, and a framework that tracks which employees have been trained on each policy. Tracking connects to Microsoft Entra ID or Active Directory, or you can import staff by CSV.

Can policies be customized for our practice?

Yes. The policies stay current as requirements change, and we can add custom policies for the way your practice works.

Do you help with a HIPAA security risk analysis?

We help with the technical side: reviewing safeguards, collecting evidence and building a remediation plan. Your compliance officer or counsel owns the compliance decisions.

Will you work with our EHR, imaging and other vendors?

Yes. We are vendor neutral. We coordinate with your line-of-business software vendors and troubleshoot imaging systems and the computers they run on, rather than replacing your vendors.

What happens after hours?

Our help desk, network operations and security operations support runs 24/7, so an issue at night or on a weekend still reaches a person.

Outcomes

  • Reduced cybersecurity risk
  • Stronger patient data protection
  • Improved staff productivity
  • Enhanced facility safety
