Security Across Every Job Site
Consider I.T. Solved.
Construction companies must protect equipment, materials, temporary facilities, and distributed teams while maintaining reliable communication and technology systems.
Sound familiar?
What contractors and developers tell us most.
01
Theft of equipment and materials
Tools, copper and machines are costly to lose, and sites are empty at night and on weekends.
02
No wired internet or power at the site
Trailers and new builds need connectivity and power before the utilities arrive.
03
Crews in the field, devices everywhere
Phones, tablets and laptops that need to work on day one, and be recoverable when someone leaves.
04
Invoice and wire fraud
Payments move fast and email scams look like routine vendor requests.
How we help
One partner for the technology and the physical side, planned together.
01
Technology Services
Jobsite connectivity. Cellular gateways or Starlink terminals for trailers and temporary sites with no wired service. We recommend what fits each site.
Managed IT with 24/7 help desk, NOC and SOC. Responsive support with proactive monitoring, patching and security operations around the clock.
Mobile device support. Phones, tablets and laptops set up, protected and recoverable if lost.
Password and credential management. 1Password for your whole team, so shared logins give way to individual, auditable access.
Email protection and training. Filtering and awareness training aimed at invoice and payment scams.
Backup for project files. Plans, drawings and contracts backed up and tested, not just stored.
Line-of-business support. We coordinate with your estimating, project-management and accounting software vendors.
02
Physical Security
Solar-powered, cellular-connected cameras. Cameras that run at remote sites with no power or wired connection, with clear alerts.
Mobile security trailer. We have a Verkada MT81 security trailer fitted out and ready for customer sites. It can run entirely on solar, or connect to a generator or shore power.
Remote site monitoring. Watch several sites from one view, so problems are caught early.
Gates and vehicle recognition. Control who drives in, and keep a record of who did.
Access control for offices and storage. Badges and mobile credentials for the shop, yard and office.
Environmental monitoring. Water and temperature alerts for offices, storage trailers and equipment rooms.
Where we focus
Connected job sites
Reliable connectivity and managed IT for crews, trailers, and offices, including cellular options where there is no wired service.
Watching what is costly to lose
Cameras, remote monitoring, and access control that help deter theft of equipment and materials.
Support for a mobile workforce
Help with phones, tablets, and laptops in the field, so crews are not waiting on IT.
Compliance conversations, made easier
Be ready when insurers, owners and agencies ask
Insurance carriers, owners, lenders and public agencies increasingly ask contractors how they protect data and sites. We help you answer with documentation instead of guesses.
Ready-to-use policies and procedures. A policy library with the documents for the specific regulations that apply to you, kept up to date for you, with room for custom policies written for your organization.
Staff training tracking. A framework that records which employees have been trained on which policies, so you can show it when asked. It connects to Microsoft Entra ID or Active Directory, or accepts a manual CSV import.
Insurance carrier requirements. Carriers ask what protections are in place on your sites and in your systems. We document what is installed and how it is monitored.
Cyber insurance questionnaires. Help answering the questions on applications and renewals, and closing the gaps they reveal.
Federal and public contract requirements. Contractors on government work may face NIST SP 800-171 and CMMC requirements. We help you understand what is being asked and what your environment supports.
Security questionnaires from owners and lenders. Clear, consistent answers backed by records of your systems and site security.
PCI DSS for card payments. If you take cards for deposits or invoices, we help scope and secure that part of your environment.
Tight Technologies provides technical and operational support. We are not a law firm or an auditor, and no vendor can make an organization compliant on its own. Rules that apply to you may include NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, PCI DSS and contract-specific security terms; your counsel or auditor can confirm.
What working with us looks like
01
Assess
We review your office, a representative job site, and how crews actually work.
02
Plan
A standard package for sites that can be repeated, so each new job starts the same way.
03
Deploy
Equipment installed quickly and tested before work begins.
04
Run and review
24/7 monitoring and support, with regular check-ins as sites open and close.
Questions we hear
Can you cover a site with no internet or power?
Yes. We use cellular gateways or Starlink terminals for connectivity, and solar-powered cameras or our mobile security trailer where there is no power. We recommend what fits the site.
Do you provide policies and procedures, and track staff training?
Yes. Every client gets access to a current policy library covering the regulations that apply to them, and a framework that tracks which employees have been trained on each policy. Tracking connects to Microsoft Entra ID or Active Directory, or you can import staff by CSV.
Can policies be customized for our organization?
Yes. The policies stay current as requirements change, and we can add custom policies for the way your organization works.
Can we move equipment from one job to the next?
Yes. Our security trailer and portable camera setups can be redeployed as projects start and finish.
Do you work with one camera brand?
No. We are vendor neutral and choose equipment for the site, not the other way around.
Who answers if something fails at night or on a weekend?
Our help desk, network operations and security operations support runs 24/7, so an issue still reaches a person.
