Our Story
Starting with an idea in 2017, Tight Technologies grew from a simple understanding of what businesses actually need from technology: Someone who will own the outcome.
How we got here
A network problem can stop productivity. A security gap can put critical information at risk. A failed server can interrupt an entire operation. And when technology and physical security work separately, gaps appear between them.
We saw an opportunity to change that. Instead of waiting for something to break, we take a proactive, business-first approach: understand your goals, plan technology around them, and manage the systems that keep you moving.
Over time that grew beyond managed IT into cybersecurity, business continuity, network management, access control, video surveillance and other physical security. As the challenges change, so do we.

April 2026 · Roanoke expansion
Ribbon cutting and open house at 3800 Electric Road with the Roanoke Regional Chamber of Commerce and Roanoke County Economic Development.
September 2026 · Greensboro opens
A second office in Greensboro, North Carolina for clients across North Carolina and the Southeast.
